About the position

The Refurbishment Operations Supervisor at AeroSafe Global is responsible for coordinating operations personnel to meet daily production goals while ensuring quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are upheld. This role involves overseeing various operational processes, including receiving, teardown, rework, and shipping, while also managing personnel assignments and timekeeping systems. The supervisor will work cross-departmentally to address and resolve operational and quality issues, ensuring efficient workflow and communication within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations personnel to enable the daily build plan.
  • Oversee and direct receiving, teardown, rework/recert, stretch wrap, and fork truck personnel.
  • Work cross-departmentally to communicate and resolve daily operations and quality issues.
  • Reassign employees as required and provide direction in the absence of the Operations Manager.
  • Manage the day-to-day timekeeping system and weekly hours approvals.
  • Ensure all inbound materials are received into the access database and confirm accuracy.
  • Support the transfer of components to the floor and storage locations.
  • Identify shortages or surpluses and communicate to the Refurbishment Manager.
  • Monitor the flow of inbound and outbound activities and input daily builds onto log sheets.
  • Support accuracy to work orders and prepare and record all shipping documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate and schedule outbound and inbound material and product shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Communicate delays and errors to the Manager.
  • Adhere to and support all safety procedures and SOPs.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 - 5 years in a supervisory position.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of the logistics industry and dealing with trucking companies.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to work as a team member to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the inter-related processes of production, shipping, inventory, and the end-user.
  • Ability to comply with standard processes and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with team and management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues effectively.
