About the position

The Residential Trash Helper position at Anthracite Waste Services involves assisting drivers in servicing residential routes for trash and recyclable materials collection. This role is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring efficient waste management operations in a growing local company.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash and recyclable materials door to door along pre-determined residential routes.
• Dump receptacles and operate a Rear-Load garbage truck safely following all route assignments.
• Safely ride, dismount, and remount the back of a rear-load garbage truck.
• Safely and responsibly operate and maintain compaction controls on a Rear-Load garbage truck.
• Focus on customer satisfaction by consistently servicing each stop on established routes.
• Assist CDL Driver as directed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ensure each day that truck and work areas are kept clean and functioning safely.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and able to lift 50 lbs or more continuously throughout the day.
• Must take pride in workmanship, with a desire to offer unmatched customer service.
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects.
• Must be team-oriented, with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
