About The Position

The Residential Trash Helper position at Anthracite Waste Services involves assisting drivers in servicing residential routes for trash and recyclable materials collection. Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and able to lift 50 lbs or more continuously throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash and recyclable materials door to door along pre-determined residential routes.
• Dump receptacles and operate a Rear-Load garbage truck safely following all route assignments.
• Safely ride, dismount, and remount the back of a rear-load garbage truck.
• Safely and responsibly operate and maintain compaction controls on a Rear-Load garbage truck.
• Focus on customer satisfaction by consistently servicing each stop on established routes.
• Assist CDL Driver as directed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ensure each day that truck and work areas are kept clean and functioning safely.
