About the position

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician's orders. Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders.
  • Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
  • Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
  • Perform assigned duties related to respiratory therapy.

Requirements

  • Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
  • Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, pinching up to 10 lbs, kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Critical care experience preferred.
