About the position

The Regence Account Executive or Senior Account Executive at Cambia Health Solutions is responsible for strategic account management, retaining existing business, and expanding relationships with key agents and brokers in an assigned territory. This role involves cross-selling multiple lines of business, building strong partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and revenue, all aimed at making members' health journeys easier. The position requires a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for retaining profitable group business.
  • Manages and nurtures relationships with brokers/agents/groups to facilitate lifetime relationships with members.
  • Effectively work within a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Underwriting, customer service, claims).
  • Establish and maintain a key account prospect list for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and follow a customer service plan to meet established standards.
  • Anticipate customer needs and effectively problem-solve.
  • Monitor business/industry conditions, customer developments, and competitive activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • For Account Executive: Four years of sales or account management experience, with two years preferable in employee benefits.
  • For Account Executive Senior: Six years of sales or account management experience, with preferably four years in employee benefits.
  • Must be currently licensed, or must become licensed within 90 days of hire, to sell insurance in the relevant states.
  • Proficient in desktop application software (email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
