About the position

The Region Retail Leader at Rite Aid is responsible for leading retail management across multiple stores, focusing on the execution of the RxEvolution strategy. This role emphasizes adherence to company policies and procedures to enhance customer trust and maximize sales, script growth, margin, and profitability. The leader will engage with store teams to foster a culture of customer service excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the region retail budgets, including sales, margin, labor, and expenses, ensuring monthly P&L results meet targets.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and utilize key performance indicators to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct frequent store visits, complete compliance audits, and coach store teams to maintain brand standards and satisfactory shrink results.
• Provide leadership and development for associates, ensuring training is completed and career opportunities are communicated.
• Collaborate with divisional, regional, and store teams to plan and execute business objectives that drive sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with FSLA laws, regulatory requirements, and OSHA standards.
• Oversee corporate marketing and operating programs to drive sales and profits in all stores within the region.
• Lead recruitment and selection for Store Management and key positions, ensuring effective staffing and expense control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in relevant fields.
• 3 years of multi-unit management experience in the retail sector preferred; 5 years if no Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pharmacy or healthcare retail management.
• Strong understanding of customer relationship management.
