About the position

The Regional Account Executive (RAE) at Relias is a strategic sales role focused on engaging with prospective Mid-Market clients within a designated territory. The RAE is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to product demonstrations, pricing negotiations, and contract reviews. This position plays a crucial role in presenting the value propositions of Relias' solutions to enhance clinical and financial outcomes for healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and finding accounts to sell into in addition to qualifying leads
  • Clearly articulating our value proposition and driving new customer engagement
  • Creating territory plans and mapping out activities by quarter to achieve quota
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline at all times and coming up with creative solutions to close new business opportunities
  • Confidently speaking with people at all levels including upper management and senior leadership
  • Tracking activities in Salesforce to attain activity KPIs
  • Effectively documenting and maintaining Salesforce data
  • Participating in product, marketing, and sales skills training
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 4+ years SaaS full cycle sales experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota over an extended period of time
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or related field

  • Vertical-specific healthcare experience strongly preferred
