About the position

The Regional Account Executive, SMB (Acute) at Relias is a strategic sales role focused on engaging prospective clients in the SMB market within a designated territory. This position is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from outbound prospecting to product demonstrations, pricing negotiations, and contract reviews, with the goal of improving clinical and financial outcomes for healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage time and territory to maximize sales calls, demonstrations, and closed deals, achieving or exceeding set quotas.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and agreements to prospective clients, including detailed demonstrations of education, compliance, clinical solutions, and professional services.
  • Prospect for new clients through email and phone campaigns on a daily basis.
  • Utilize the Relias Salesforce system to track and manage all sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
  • Document and maintain Salesforce data effectively.
  • Utilize technology to facilitate presentations and client calls.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a sales role.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and cold calling.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare/Hospital industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling SaaS software solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Gong.
