About the position

The Regional Account Executive at Aterra Lighting & Controls LLC is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets by building strong relationships with homebuilders and strategic partners. This hybrid role involves both fieldwork and remote work, focusing on maximizing the sales team's potential through coaching and leadership. The position requires navigating complex sales processes and understanding customer needs to ensure a strong market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by maintaining consistent sales activity.
  • Implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
  • Build and promote strong long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Prepare realistic sales forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new service offerings and competition status.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves
