About the position

The Regional Account Manager for the Hospitality Division at The Wasserstrom Company is responsible for driving sales activities in the North Texas and Dallas region. This role involves lead generation, customer engagement, and implementing sales strategies to expand the company's market presence. The Account Manager will collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue generation, aligning with the company's vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with store level, regional level, and national level buyers in a competitive environment.
  • Understand and present customized distribution programs based on customer goals.
  • Manage over 5000 different SKUs across multiple regions and departments, understanding lead times and inventory requirements.
  • React quickly to daily customer needs and demands.
  • Handle large physically demanding check-ins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven sales success.
  • Knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and product demonstration techniques.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and processes.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry is desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in non-food service products such as décor, merchandising, and marketing materials.
