About the position

The Regional Account Manager for Industrial Product Sales is responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the Southeast territory, specifically in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. This role involves actively pursuing new business opportunities, implementing strategic sales plans, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure the company remains a preferred supplier in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B field sales, particularly in industrial products or manufacturing, and will thrive in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Conduct regular sales calls to existing accounts and prospect for new key accounts
  • Achieve territory and corporate sales targets
  • Maintain and grow gross margin while protecting business
  • Attend weekly planning meetings; track metrics, milestones, and results
  • Develop new product opportunities and vendor consolidation strategies
  • Maintain CRM with activities, appointments, and quotes
  • Participate in lunch and learns and joint vendor calls
  • Follow up on product launches and trade shows

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience required
  • 3+ years of industrial product or manufacturing industry sales experience required
  • Proficient with CRM tools and MS Office Suite required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 50% travel within territory required
