About the position

The Regional Account Manager of University Partnerships at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is responsible for overseeing community college and military-related activities, developing strategies to enhance transfer articulation and military programs, and managing relationships with community colleges and military organizations. This role involves promoting SNHU's educational programs, recruiting military personnel and community college transfer students, and establishing new partnerships to position SNHU as a leading choice for these populations. The position allows for remote work within specified states and requires significant travel.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure SNHU has representation on all identified community college partner and military installations and events.
  • Promote SNHU Global Campus educational and partnership programs to community college partners and military educators, service members, veterans, and their family members.
  • Travel to community colleges and military bases to recruit military personnel, their spouses and children, and community college transfer students for SNHU Global Campus educational programs.
  • Build strategic territory outreach plans to recruit community college graduates and military affiliated populations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with important influencers at community colleges and within the military.
  • Refer enrollment inquiries to admissions staff and introduce potential students to SNHU Global Campus programs.
  • Coordinate preliminary transfer credit evaluations for undergraduate or graduate programs.
  • Ensure compatibility between students' goals and the University's mission.
  • Act as a contact for community college partners and military partners to foster awareness of SNHU programs.
  • Seek out meaningful partnerships with organizations that promote education and well-being of military affiliated members.
  • Maintain relationships with partner organizations to foster goodwill between the University and partners.
  • Build awareness and advocacy for military schools to articulate military credit through degree roadmaps.
  • Provide in-person and virtual support to currently enrolled military students in assigned territories.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding and State requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Higher Education strategic account management and as a college outreach representative with a record of solution selling and relationship management across community colleges.
  • Experience producing measurable results for partners, delivering Higher Ed solutions.
  • Proficiency with managing all aspects of CRM related accountabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree
  • Prior experience as an outreach representative for an institute of higher learning.
  • Recruiting and/or higher education admissions or outreach experience.
  • Knowledge of community college culture and tuition assistance processes.
  • Knowledge or experience with transfer credit programs.
  • Experience with program management.
