About the position

The Regional Account Manager at Expedient is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients while also prospecting for new business opportunities. This role requires leveraging strong business insights and IT technical skills to align with clients' strategic initiatives, ensuring optimal client experiences, and meeting sales targets. The position involves a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on enhancing the value of Expedient's services and creating demand for additional revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging in a continual selling effort with clients to enhance the value of Expedient's services and to create demand for additional revenue
  • Retain, nurture and grow the existing client sales pipeline, forecasting future sales and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets
  • Serve as a client advocate to ensure an optimal client experience by working with Operations Support, Service Delivery and Product Development teams
  • Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with a dedicated Solutions Architect
  • Develop account plans for your largest clients to assist in overall account engagement by the broader support team
  • Establish and foster key stakeholder relationships across a range of personas and functions within the client organization
  • Responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close for existing clients
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Client Advisors to develop strategies to target and grow Expedient's overall account base in your region
  • Grow the sales pipeline of new business, forecasting future sales based on trends and observations and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT solutions-based selling
  • Proven track record of exceeding individual sales and retention goals through the strategic management of a portfolio of existing clients
  • Successful track record in a complex sales environment, IT or Technology is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in sales funnel development, deal progression and closing
  • Manage the full sales process from lead generation to close with the ability to accurately forecast your business
  • Strong in-person and virtual networking skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline is highly desired
