About the position

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined geographic territory by focusing on the sales of aftermarket parts, equipment modernization programs, service contracts, and new equipment sales. This role requires strategic territory management to enhance market share and convert competitor installations, utilizing solution-based selling techniques to effectively promote various Norican products across all levels of client organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional strategy with the VP, Business Development to gain market share in new and existing accounts.
  • Expand relationships and develop strategies to maintain and grow existing core aftermarket accounts.
  • Use solution-based selling to promote the value of Norican aftermarket, engineering, service, and OEM equipment products.
  • Utilize company resources effectively with proper planning and qualifying of opportunities.
  • Coordinate with regional agent networks in assigned accounts to grow business and cultivate new agent relationships.
  • Effectively communicate with assigned inside sales representatives, engineering, applications, service technicians, and other Norican brand representatives.
  • Gather and maintain information about customers, prospects, and equipment within the territory in the company CRM system.
  • Provide weekly activity reports, itineraries, and timely submission of expense reports.
  • Complete all documentation legibly and in a timely manner as required.
  • Perform special projects and duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) preferred or comparable work experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Outside Industrial Sales.
  • Familiarity with Blast Equipment and its operation or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
