About the position

The Regional Account Manager at LG Home Appliances / MarketSource is responsible for managing relationships with retail partners, driving brand awareness, and increasing sales across the assigned territory. This role involves both in-person and virtual support, training store personnel, executing strategic initiatives, and engaging with consumers through social media. The position requires a proactive approach to market intelligence and sales data analysis, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Train, educate, and motivate store personnel on product features and benefits.
  • Influence district and store leaders to support sales strategies.
  • Execute action plans to drive sales and market share.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client and retailer leadership.
  • Record and submit sales and market information after retailer visits.
  • Identify regional training opportunities and deliver training.
  • Maintain brand visual presence in retail locations.
  • Drive to retail stores to ensure proper display and merchandising.
  • Respond to retailer issues and concerns promptly.
  • Understand client account representation and adapt to different retail structures.
  • Analyze territory portfolio and communicate growth opportunities.
  • Manage social media presence to build brand awareness.
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 4+ years in retail sales or retail sales management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail home appliance or electronics.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills and flexible style.
  • Proactive, high energy, self-motivated attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with operating camera equipment for product demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and audience engagement strategies.
