About the position

The Regional Administrative Support Specialist at the Autism Society of North Carolina plays a crucial role in providing administrative support across two office locations, primarily in Raleigh and Fayetteville. This full-time position involves a blend of onsite and remote work, focusing on data management, onboarding, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and support for staff and clients. The role is integral to connecting people within the organization and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative duties in two or more sites within a geographical area.
  • Collect and enter staff and client information into electronic records and management systems.
  • Run reports in various systems to ensure data accuracy and follow up on incomplete items.
  • Coordinate and manage physical and electronic document storage while adhering to HIPAA requirements.
  • Support onboarding activities by directing job applicants and conducting phone screenings.
  • Schedule meetings and activities for regional staff and communicate with attendees.
  • Provide front desk service by greeting and assisting visitors and callers.
  • Complete expense reporting and process invoices according to accounting procedures.
  • Perform various clerical duties such as making copies, sorting materials, and distributing mail.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma and two years of relevant administrative experience or ability to demonstrate necessary skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong typing and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
