About the position

As a Regional Banker/Teller at PNC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences through proactive sales and service activities. This position involves engaging with customers to identify their financial needs, promoting bank products, and fostering customer loyalty. You will be part of the Regional Resource Team, supporting multiple branches in the McAllen, Edinburg, and Weslaco Texas Retail Market, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and driving new revenue through effective customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing and create loyalty.
• Engage in proactive sales and service activities, including teller transactions and selling bank products.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer relationships and share of wallet.
• Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions.
• Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
• Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
• Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology and resources.
• Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems effectively.
• Ensure teller and branch daily operations are completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in banking or customer service.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required if experience is sufficient.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience in retail lending and selling banking products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify customer needs.
