About the position

The Regional Business Development Manager at LAZ Parking plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional Vice President by driving opportunity outreach and sales within the region. This position is centered around identifying, ranking, developing, and managing prospects, guiding them through the sales pipeline to achieve successful closures. The Business Development Manager is expected to assist in various aspects of pipeline generation, underwriting, proposal preparation, and transitions for new locations. This role requires a keen analytical mindset to evaluate new business opportunities and competitor operations, focusing on revenue, expenses, and profit margins while continuously monitoring and reviewing market rate structures. In addition to these responsibilities, the Business Development Manager will be tasked with underwriting and building financial models and proformas to support business decisions. Maintaining and maximizing the Salesforce pipeline is essential, as is building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities for the region. The role involves collaboration with various internal resources to ensure timely proposal submissions and assisting the operations team with the transition of new locations into the portfolio. Networking and developing client relationships are key components of this position, as the manager will leverage these relationships to secure deals and report on the networking pipeline. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Regional Vice President, General Managers, and Directors of Operations to ensure that solutions are effectively delivered to meet both internal and external client needs. Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic and engaging role within a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the region with pipeline generation, underwriting, proposal, presentation, and transitions for new locations.
  • Analyze new business opportunities and competitor parking operations for revenue, expense, and profit; monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures.
  • Underwrite, build financial models, and create proformas.
  • Maintain and maximize the Salesforce pipeline for the region.
  • Build a pipeline of new business for the region.
  • Partner with various resources within the region for the preparation and timely submittal of proposals.
  • Assist the operations team with the transition of all new locations added to the portfolio.
  • Network, develop, and build client relationships, leveraging those relationships into deals.
  • Develop a networking pipeline and report said pipeline.
  • Work directly with the RVP, GMs, and DOOs to ensure solutions are delivered to support internal and external client needs.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in a business role with a proven track record, or 6+ years in a business role without a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience structuring and consulting on projects for customers and clients.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is preferable.
