About the position

The Regional Business Manager (Partner Operations) at Diasorin is responsible for leading sales efforts for Luminex Corporation's Partnership Business group in the Northeast or Boston area. This role involves strategic development of existing partner relationships in Life Science Research & Diagnostics, executing regional strategies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer satisfaction and product adoption. The position requires significant field travel to engage directly with customers and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales for Luminex Corporation's Partnership Business group in the Northeast or Boston area.
  • Develop strategic plans and forecasts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage internal resources for tactical execution of direct purchase opportunities.
  • Conduct daily sales calls to close opportunities and generate leads.
  • Manage sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Act as a liaison for existing relationships with Luminex's Partners to drive instrument placements and kit sales.
  • Negotiate agreements with assigned Partners and determine optimal acquisition terms.
  • Develop strategic revenue plans with Partners to enhance commercial execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with partners and customers for long-term alliances.
  • Plan and execute regular business reviews with partners.
  • Assess the strategic partner landscape and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or Business with at least three years of equivalent experience in Pharma or Life Science Research Company.
  • Master's of Science Degree or MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated management skills, including product launch planning and channel integration.
  • 3+ years of strong territory management skills.
  • 3+ years of excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple relationships.
  • 3+ years of experience in building business plans and strategic approaches for territory management.
  • 3+ years of strong communication and presentation skills.
  • 3+ years of a network of executive-level contacts within the Pharma or Life Science Research community preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in establishing and maintaining business/channel relationships preferred.
  • 3+ years of excellent presence with customers and ability to manage objections effectively.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in formulating and executing action plans with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Network of executive-level contacts within the Pharma and/or Life Science Research community preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining business/channel relationships preferred.
