About the position

The Regional Business Manager (RBM) at Automation-X is responsible for driving sales and providing customer service support within the South Texas Region. This role focuses on direct sales efforts, customer relationship management, and achieving sales targets while overseeing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business unit. The RBM will engage with customers through various communication channels and ensure the delivery of integrated automation solutions tailored to the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Direct sales and customer service support to assigned customers.
  • Conduct customer visits, phone calls, emails, and cold calling.
  • Work with customers in both field and corporate office settings to deliver products and solutions.
  • Lead the sales effort and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the Business Unit.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline and attract key customers.
  • Provide timely reporting of customer interactions and expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on account strategies and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Submit monthly expense reports and maintain detailed records of customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma required.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure correct automation solutions are provided.
  • Excellent customer relations skills to proactively engage with customers and team members.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to represent Automation-X professionally and build strong customer relationships.
  • Oil & Gas Automation experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of power, communication, measurement, control, and electrical aspects of wellhead products.
