About the position

The Regional Cap Ex - Senior Specialist will manage capital expenditure (CapEx) for various categories within the Americas region, acting as a liaison between local sites and the Global Cap Ex team. This role focuses on capital planning, engagement management, and performance improvement, ensuring financial transparency and adherence to procurement policies. The specialist will develop relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, drive compliance, and lead sustainability initiatives while managing a comprehensive regional strategy aligned with global objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and execute a comprehensive regional strategy in line with the global strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Drive sourcing compliance and maximize supplier value.
• Monitor KPIs including cost savings, cost avoidance, and diversity spend.
• Ensure adherence to established GCP policies and procedures by internal customers.
• Stay updated on sustainability best practices and regulations.
• Drive diversity spend by developing new suppliers globally.

Requirements

• Knowledge of environmental sustainability concepts and regulations.
• Demonstrated project management expertise with fast-paced projects.
• Experience executing sustainability initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or advanced degree is desirable.
