About the position
Join Bellavance Trucking, a family-owned and operated company, as a truck driver. This position offers regional routes that allow you to be home 36-48 hours a week, with the option to be home every weekend. Responsibilities
- Drive state-of-the-art equipment with an average age of 2.5 years.
- Transport freight using various types of trailers (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed).
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of loads, adhering to safety regulations.
- Participate in the driver mentor program for skill development.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Must have a CDL Class A license.
- Minimum 6 months of driving experience with at least one type of trailer offered.
- Consistent employment history, having worked for two or fewer companies per year.
- Less than 2 moving violations and/or less than 1 preventable accident in the last three years.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in being home every week.
- Experience with luxury sleeper trucks.
