About the position

The Regional Commercial Relationship Manager at Northwest Bank serves as a trusted business advisor to clients, providing a comprehensive range of banking solutions to meet their financial objectives. This role involves managing a portfolio of relationships, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and generating new business opportunities through networking and referrals. The manager collaborates with product partners and a portfolio management team to enhance client relationships and manage risk effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand existing commercial banking relationships
  • Prospect actively and successfully bring in new relationships to Northwest
  • Engage with various product partners to discuss cross-selling opportunities and referrals
  • Achieve and exceed budget goals individually and by region
  • Participate in community and professional networking events
  • Develop meaningful 'Centers of Influence' relationships
  • Establish and maintain an ongoing prospect list and calling schedule
  • Encourage existing clients to provide ongoing referrals
  • Manage a commercial loan portfolio of credit and noncredit clients
  • Make loan presentations and recommendations to Credit and senior managers
  • Partner with credit and portfolio management for timely reviews and renewals
  • Ensure noncredit clients have appropriate treasury management services
  • Collect on delinquent accounts as required
  • Analyze financial statements to assess client performance and risk
  • Complete loan closings in partnership with Portfolio Management
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office and department-specific software
  • Work as part of a team
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing
  • 6 - 8 years of account relationship management experience
  • Experience delivering strong sales performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of C & I lending and loan servicing
  • Strong negotiating skills in loan structure and pricing
  • Knowledge of risk management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
