About the position

The Regional Community Engagement Manager at VyStar Credit Union will coordinate initiatives to promote the organization and its services within the community. This role involves building relationships with community leaders, planning and executing community events, and supporting the overall community engagement strategy in collaboration with the AVP, Regional Community Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the community engagement strategy for the region in partnership with the AVP of Regional Community Engagement.
  • Lead and maintain active engagement across the designated submarket to identify key needs and opportunities for VyStar.
  • Identify key organizations for partnership and develop holistic opportunities for collaboration.
  • Support the planning and execution of community events across the Atlanta region.
  • Coordinate with marketing partners for advertising and promotion of community engagements.
  • Inspire regional staff to engage in volunteerism and employee giving.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of work experience in community engagement or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Results-oriented with strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in community engagement preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
