About the position

The Regional Community Manager will oversee and manage the operations of multiple properties within the Houston region. This role is crucial in ensuring that all administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The manager will coordinate property maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for tenants, while also managing contracts with vendors and service providers. A key aspect of this position is to develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The manager will also identify opportunities for upselling additional services to existing customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and team members. In addition to these responsibilities, the Regional Community Manager will utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory. This position will require close collaboration with the Asset team and the CEO/Owner to ensure that all operational goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management or real estate, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operations of multiple properties within the region

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in property management or real estate
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, team members, and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry and reporting purposes
  • Familiarity with CMMS software or similar systems for tracking maintenance activities is preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Property management knowledge
  • Understanding of Fair Housing regulations
  • Familiarity with LIHTC and Section 8 programs
  • Proficiency in Yardi and OneSite software
  • Conflict management skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
