About the position

The Regional Construction Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting franchises to enhance their construction services and achieve growth. This position involves evaluating current processes, providing solutions, and implementing the SERVPRO Operating System to ensure a consistent network of construction providers. The specialist will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to meet regional construction growth goals, conduct evaluations, and build collaborative relationships within the franchise community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to franchises to improve their construction services.
  • Evaluate current construction processes and performance of franchises.
  • Partner with the Regional Director of Operations to achieve regional construction growth goals.
  • Conduct onsite visits, webinars, and phone calls to assess and improve franchise performance.
  • Help franchises implement the SERVPRO construction Operating System, including business development and staff training.
  • Document and report potential improvement areas based on implementation challenges or best practices.
  • Perform franchise evaluations to ensure uniform service delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential or light commercial construction with a focus on business management and project management.
  • Preferred experience as a general manager or owner of a construction company.
  • Strong business management skills and ability to influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Leadership qualities, integrity, tact, and diplomacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Business consulting and/or training skills.
  • Understanding of franchise systems.
  • Advanced understanding of construction processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of performance improvement principles and business intelligence.
