Responsibilities

  • Preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns.
  • Manage complex assignments and coordinate project management.
  • Delegate tasks and consistently review work for quality assurance.
  • Work independently and collaboratively on group projects under strict deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and senior management.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license required.
  • At least 3+ years of recent experience at a CPA firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Prosystem FX, and Lacerte software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with tax preparation software such as Prosystem FX and Lacerte.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
