About the position

We're Vayda. Vayda is a technology and services company accelerating the agricultural transition to regenerative farming systems. We serve the rapidly growing community of non-operating farmland owners and their growers, helping them build the financial and physical resilience of their farms amid a changing climate, and helping growers and landowners maximize return on investment in climate-positive practices. Vayda works from the ground up, using its own farmed acres and technology to develop field-tested best practices for farm-scale regenerative transitions that can be customized to every operation's unique context. As such, Vayda paves a transition path that protects a growers' yield and grows their profitability throughout the conversion to regenerative practices, while collecting ground-truth data on environmental outcomes that is increasingly valuable to supply chains and ecosystem services markets. Vayda is a US Public Benefit Corporation backed by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan and other experienced sector investors. As the Regional Customer Success Manager (RCSM) for Vayda's Soil+ offering, your role is pivotal in driving the company's mission and goals in the Delta region. You will represent Vayda and its mission, embodying the company's commitment to sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices in all your interactions with growers. Your primary focus will be on engaging with growers in the region, understanding their needs, challenges, and aspirations, and building strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand Vayda's presence in the Delta region, ensuring that value is delivered as promised to current growers, and serving as an educator and advocate for regenerative agriculture practices. In this role, you will drive customer acquisition through individual grower contacts and local meetings, work closely with growers during onboarding, help problem-solve in-season, collaborate with the Product team to identify bottlenecks in the sales process, and bring ideas for new technologies that can improve regenerative and operational outcomes at Vayda. Your efforts will drive business growth and contribute to the broader goal of advancing sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices in the Mississippi Delta and beyond.
