About the position

The Regional Customer Technical Services Manager for the Central U.S. is responsible for overseeing the Customer Technical Services (CTS) Representatives in the assigned region. This role focuses on ensuring optimal service delivery to customers while managing a significant budget and contributing to the overall financial goals of the organization. The manager will lead a team, promote employee development, and drive customer satisfaction through effective operations management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Customer Technical Services Representatives in the Central U.S. region.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels to meet customer commitments and satisfaction.
  • Direct customer value-add activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data on key metrics for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor costs to serve and manage the budget effectively.
  • Promote positive employee relations and manage team performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Significant experience in customer-facing technical/operational roles with project execution experience.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with ink application technology and chemistry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Minitab and statistical analysis tools.
