As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will be at the forefront of managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects that are critical to the success of our operations. Your role will involve leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all technical requirements are met while maintaining a clear focus on the big picture. You will collaborate closely with internal customers to define project requirements and manage the entire project lifecycle, which includes scheduling, risk identification, and stakeholder communication. Your ability to articulate technical analyses and recommendations to both executives and engineers will be essential in driving project success. In this position, you will leverage your extensive technical and leadership expertise to manage projects of varying sizes and scopes. You will be responsible for identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and steering the technical direction of your programs. Your work will directly impact the architecture that supports Google's online services, as you will be involved in developing and maintaining data centers and building the next generation of Google platforms. The Technical Infrastructure team prides itself on being the engineers' engineers, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation. You will also provide technical support to data center construction and operations teams, assisting in defining control system design requirements for multiple projects. Your collaboration with engineering core teams will be crucial in developing, implementing, and managing data center designs, ensuring that all documentation from the Basis of Design (BOD) to Issued for Construction (IFC) is accurate and comprehensive. Additionally, you will own and manage all site-level control system issues during the project execution phase, maintaining all related design requirements and interface documents.
