As a Regional Demand Planner at Schneider Electric, you will be accountable for leading the Offer and Demand review process for the business unit. This role involves managing the Collaborative Sales forecast process and delivering a consistent and aligned demand plan for the next 24 months. The Demand Planning process is fully embedded in the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) framework. A key aspect of this position is to understand the impact and consequences of any given demand plan on the subsequent supply chain delivery through collaborative End-to-End simulations. Your responsibilities will include preparing the statistical forecast baseline by cleaning the sales order history and analyzing trends with data scientists. You will also need to integrate macroeconomic indicators into the statistical forecast baseline. Collaboration is essential, as you will interact with marketing, finance, and Lines of Business (LoB) to understand demand forecast drivers and achieve consensus for forecasts at the product family level. Additionally, you will enrich the demand plan by integrating events such as customer projects, product launches, or phase-out projects, while monitoring and driving improvements in forecast value add. Communication is a critical part of this role, as you will prepare and lead the Offer and Demand Review, communicate forecasts and assumptions, and highlight new products or product phase-outs that are at risk. You will also provide input to the Supply & Inventory Planners to assess the impact on inventory and capacity, working closely with them on simulations and their impact on the rest of the supply chain. Continuous improvement will be a focus, as you will monitor and drive improvements in forecast accuracy, follow up on order intake versus forecast, conduct root cause analysis for deviations, and manage corrective actions.
