About the position

The Regional Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager is responsible for leading digital marketing efforts and optimizing e-commerce channels for a boutique portfolio of hotels. This role involves developing strategic marketing campaigns, managing e-commerce platforms, and driving revenue growth through innovative digital strategies. The position is remote with occasional in-person meetings and site visits required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and maximize bookings.
  • Oversee paid media campaigns, including paid search, PPC, metasearch, display, retargeting, and social media ads, to achieve high ROAS.
  • Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to refine marketing tactics and attract new audiences.
  • Manage website content and SEO to improve search engine rankings and website performance.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive repeat business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Revenue, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Direct and manage relationships with external agencies specializing in digital, social, creative, SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue, and other relevant metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital landscape.
  • Create monthly reports to track the success of campaigns.
  • Ensure all property brands are properly conveyed through digital channels.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury or upper upscale hospitality operation within both Marriott and independently-branded hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRM, and email marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent copywriting, content creation, and creative design skills.
  • Experience with Adobe, Microsoft, Google, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, CRM systems, CMS systems, and project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including service recovery and resolution.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple concurrent demands while prioritizing responsibilities.
  • Aptitude to perform numerical analysis of data and formulate conclusions and solutions.
  • Approachable, authentic, and engaging demeanor, setting an example for all Associates.
  • Results oriented and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
