About the position

The Regional Director, Mid-Atlantic/VA Market Lead at Positive Athlete, INC. is responsible for spearheading the expansion of the organization in the Virginia market and surrounding areas. This role focuses on increasing school involvement in recognition and development programs while driving revenue through corporate partnerships and sponsorships. The position requires a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in a fast-growing environment and make a positive impact on high school student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Positive Athlete operations across the Mid-Atlantic Region, starting with the Virginia market.
• Drive school engagement by building relationships with high schools and community partners.
• Generate revenue through the sale of corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
• Travel within your region to meet with schools, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
• Plan recognition events for local award and scholarship winners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales and partnership development.
• Passion for working with youth sports and educational programs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within Virginia Market.
• Ability to travel as necessary within the Mid-Atlantic region (NC, SC, WV, Chesapeake).

Nice-to-haves

• Sponsorship/Partnership sales experience in the Richmond/DC Metro Area.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sport Management or related field.
• Former high school athlete or experience in high school sports.
• Event planning experience.
