About the position

Medical Facilities of America, an innovative regional healthcare company, is seeking a Regional Director of Admissions and Marketing. This role is pivotal in leading a team of Admission Directors and Admissions Liaisons primarily in the greater Richmond and Lynchburg areas of Virginia. The primary focus of this position is to enhance care transitions from acute care settings to short-term post-acute care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales performance and strategic business development, demonstrating the ability to create and implement effective business plans that include quarterly and annual strategies supported by significant data analysis. This role requires effective goal and objective setting, along with the ability to follow through on these initiatives to ensure success. In addition to strategic planning, the Regional Director will be responsible for project management and fostering strong customer relationships, particularly with front-line hospital staff, middle management, and senior leadership. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, with a focus on coaching and developing high-performing teams. This position is not only about managing admissions but also about driving the overall marketing strategy to ensure that the company’s services are effectively communicated and positioned within the healthcare community. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their experience in healthcare management and their ability to lead teams towards achieving organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Admission Directors and Admissions Liaisons in the Richmond and Lynchburg areas.
