About the position

The Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing clinical operations within the hospice facilities in the designated region. This role involves ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing clinical staff, and improving patient care quality. The director will work closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical operations across multiple hospice facilities in the region.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage and support clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current nursing license in the state of Utah.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations management, preferably in hospice or home health care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Certification in hospice and palliative care.
