About the position

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Regional Director of Clinical Operations position in the Houston area. The Regional Director of Clinical Operations (RDCO) will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple healthcare sites, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves direct supervision of site Directors of Nursing (DONs) and Administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of patient care and operational excellence. The RDCO will be instrumental in hiring qualified staff, overseeing site operations, and collaborating with Physicians on Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) reports to enhance patient outcomes. In addition to operational oversight, the RDCO will assist with the recruitment, retention, and training of nursing and clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes professional development and high-quality patient care. The role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage multiple sites, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The RDCO will also be responsible for the overall direction and guidance of all patient care services, making strategic decisions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of clinical operations and ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple healthcare sites and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Supervise site Directors of Nursing (DONs) and Administrators.
  • Assist in hiring qualified staff for clinical operations.
  • Oversee site operations and collaborate with Physicians on IDT reports.
  • Assist with the recruitment, retention, and training of nursing and clinical staff.
  • Provide overall direction and guidance for all patient care services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Nursing certification required.
  • 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare as a Director of Nursing (DON) and/or in Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Ability to staff and manage multiple sites effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clean background, drug screen, and driving record.
