About the position

The Director of Marketing and Business Development at Aventura Health Group is responsible for promoting the company's values and services, enhancing community outreach, and strengthening referral sources. This role involves strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives, event coordination, and collaboration with the Corporate Marketing department to ensure effective communication and representation of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform outreach efforts to cultivate and strengthen referral sources while marketing company values.
  • Attend community marketing events to identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Coordinate publicity events and work closely with the Corporate Marketing department on event execution.
  • Plan marketing needs, outreach, and tactics for all aspects of residence at Aventura.
  • Conduct tours of communities to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Ensure that patients and families are welcomed and settled on admission day.
  • Develop backup procedures for tours when the Director of Admissions and/or Marketing is unavailable.
  • Train backup designees on the process of giving tours and taking inquiries.
  • Maintain records and results on all referral and conversion activity.
  • Provide feedback and perform customer problem resolution in concert with the Administrator.
  • Assist in the development and placement of media advertisements and creative.
  • Serve on the Quality Assurance committee for the facility.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing and business development, preferably in healthcare or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with community members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proficiency in event planning and execution.
  • Experience in customer service and problem resolution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Experience in public relations or media relations.
