About the position

The Director of Marketing and Business Development at Aventura Health Group is responsible for promoting the organization's values and services, enhancing community outreach, and strengthening referral sources. This role involves strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives, event coordination, and collaboration with the Corporate Marketing department to ensure effective communication and representation of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly performs outreach efforts to cultivate and strengthen referral sources while marketing company values.
  • Periodically attends community marketing events to identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Coordinate all publicity events and work closely with the Corporate Marketing department on event execution.
  • Works in alignment with Corporate Marketing proactively planning marketing needs, outreach, and tactics for all aspects of residence at Aventura.
  • Tours communities regularly to identify areas of improvement in the physical plant, operations, and pricing, and makes recommendations to the leadership team to address.
  • Ensure that patients and families are appropriately welcomed and settled on admission day.
  • Develop backup procedures with the Administrator for tours when the Director of Admissions and/or Marketing is not available.
  • Train backup designees on the process of giving tours and taking inquiries.
  • Maintain records and results on all referral and conversion activity.
  • In concert with the Administrator, provide feedback and perform customer problem resolution.
  • Assist in the development and placement of media advertisements and creative.
  • Serve on the Quality Assurance committee for the facility.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in marketing and business development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Experience in event planning and community outreach.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or related fields.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
