About the position

The position involves overseeing a Division/Market of multiple restaurants, ensuring that management teams adhere to core values to foster a positive work environment. The role is focused on driving relentless execution by meeting food quality, service standards, and Store Operation Cash Flow (SOCF) for the respective Division/Market. The individual will be responsible for achieving targeted KPIs such as Revenue, Labor, Cost of Goods, Controllable Expenses, and Turnover to maximize SOCF.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and partner with General Manager(s) to ensure restaurant goals and objectives are set and on track.
  • Pursue purpose in fulfilling the Company goals and objectives relentlessly.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit and hire management for their division and company.
  • Coach and direct GMs in the personnel process for Managers in Training (MITs).
  • Coach and direct GMs in the development, coaching, and discipline of the Managers they supervise.
  • Produce and maintain an effective succession plan for all levels.
  • Coach and direct GMs in the selection and development of Future Leaders and internal management candidates.
  • Perform required Inventory Audits, Food Safety, and High-Risk Inspections including follow up.
  • Maintain a constant dialogue with their direct supervisor regarding Ops and staff.
  • Ensure GMs perform Quarterly Check-In discussions and update Performance Ratings for each of their Managers.
  • Ensure restaurants achieve purpose and follow all company standards and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws including wage and hour regulations.
  • Ensure progressive discipline procedures are followed and employee relations issues are handled consistent with company policy.
  • Ensure all facilities are properly maintained for all guests.
  • Analyze operating results and prepare action plans with GMs.
  • Develop and meet budgets with GMs and DOE or Sr. DOE.
  • Support, enforce, and follow through on all Communications/Memos/Company initiatives.
  • Ensure all Managers are current in all required certifications.
  • Utilize CrunchTime/Teamworx/Labor Card, KDS to achieve high guest satisfaction and manage labor costs.
  • Take on participatory or leadership roles in special projects/initiatives as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree and/or business experience equivalency required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial information and a thorough understanding of the P&L and all Dashboard Reports.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills using all available Key Performance Metrics.
  • Ability to recruit, develop and retain strong Management Teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
