In terms of account management and client relations, the Regional Director will balance company goals and regulatory agency requirements with individual client objectives to create personalized programs that meet resident needs. This includes conducting quarterly business reviews with clients to ensure community objectives are met, communicating industry trends, and providing opportunities for clients to share critical feedback. The role also involves active participation in food service-related committees within assigned communities and being visible at special events to demonstrate the company's commitment to the community. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, along with the flexibility to travel between communities within the region. The Regional Director will also be responsible for ensuring responsible financial management of assigned communities, developing annual budgets, monitoring financial reports for compliance, and implementing policies to achieve financial results. Participation in the sales process, including contract negotiations and leading new opening services for new business accounts, is also a key aspect of the role. Collaboration with the marketing team to develop promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns to drive revenue and enhance resident experiences is expected. Team building and management are critical components of this position. The Regional Director will provide vision, strategy, and tools to team members to successfully execute their community dining programs, ensuring high levels of resident and client satisfaction. Exceptional leadership abilities are required to motivate, develop, and manage a diverse team, providing both positive and negative feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary training programs. The role also involves recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team of food and beverage professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts in and around Sacramento, CA with 75% travel.
  • Ensure high-quality services, financial success, and client satisfaction within the region.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients to ensure community objectives are met and communicate industry trends.
  • Participate in food service-related committees and special events to demonstrate commitment to the community.
  • Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining product and service quality standards through periodic property inspections.
  • Review resident surveys for service concerns and work with Executive Directors to address and resolve issues.
  • Ensure responsible financial management of assigned communities and develop annual budgets.
  • Participate in the sales process by assisting with contract negotiations and leading new opening services.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide vision, strategy, and tools to team members to execute community dining programs successfully.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of food and beverage professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience in multi-unit management in contract food services is required.
  • Exceptional leadership, training skills, and ability to influence effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team of six or more manager-level team members.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in multi-unit management with a focus on Food Services.
