About the position

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operations and corporate compliance of HRA communities within a specific region. This role involves strategic planning to ensure that each community meets or exceeds its budgeted census and revenue goals, while promoting teamwork across the company. The incumbent will work closely with other regional operators and the COO to develop tactical objectives and training initiatives, ultimately assisting community staff in achieving their operational targets.

Responsibilities

  • Assure attainment of budgeted financial performance for each community.
  • Ensure attainment of census goals.
  • Maintain sound operational performance across communities.
  • Ensure adherence to all HRA policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate rate increases as market conditions allow.
  • Oversee excellent resident care and services provided by well-trained staff.
  • Hire and train Executive Directors and Property Management, supervising their activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and business plans for each property.
  • Ensure licensing and compliance with regulations for all communities.
  • Monitor reports from Executive Directors and Property Management, preparing reports for the COO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Senior level experience in operations management.
