About the position

The Regional Director of Sales (West) at ePac Flexible Packaging is responsible for leading a team of sales executives and account managers in the Western United States. This role focuses on driving sales growth, ensuring high levels of customer service, and managing the adoption of Salesforce CRM within the sales team. The position requires strategic leadership, effective communication, and a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry to meet sales goals and support small to medium-sized consumer packaged goods companies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of 12+ sales representatives throughout the Western United States.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee the use and adoption of Salesforce CRM & CRM Analytics.
  • Utilize reports and dashboards to measure performance, deliver forecasts, and ensure standards compliance.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with salespeople using Salesforce data.
  • Build better communication between Sales Support Personnel, Pre-press Personnel, and the Sales team.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing sales team members.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Support the sales team in managing customer relationships and resolving issues.
  • Drive all regional sales forecasting and planning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience required.
  • Flexible packaging experience required.
  • Experience managing teams exceeding 10 people.
  • Experience managing at least $50M in annual revenue.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is preferred.
