About the position

The Regional Director - Operations at HarmonyCares is responsible for overseeing the administrative, clinical, and community relations aspects of multiple facilities within a designated region. This role involves ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining high-quality care standards, and leading a qualified staff to deliver effective healthcare services in home settings. The position requires strategic planning and coordination of care across various disciplines to meet the needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of administrative, clinical, and community relations for multiple facilities.
  • Implement approved work methods and procedures to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Maintain professional standards of community nursing and therapy practice across the region.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness of the agency's programs in the region.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with policies set by the Governing Body to the professional staff.
  • Select and maintain a qualified staff to supervise daily operations of the agencies.
  • Establish staffing patterns that reflect the necessary professional personnel for patient care.
  • Coordinate care methods with the HarmonyCares Home Health leadership team and assist in strategic planning.
  • Promote and maintain standards for quality care by all members of the patient care team.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or related field, or 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Five years of supervisory and/or administrative experience.
  • Two years of home health experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in personal computer use, including email, clinical, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • A current unencumbered State Professional Nurse or Therapy license.
  • Master's degree.
