About the position

The Regional Director Operations at Panoramic Health plays a crucial role in the development and execution of performance goals and long-term operational plans. This position is designed for a leader who can navigate the complexities of a rapidly growing organization while providing steady leadership both internally and externally. The Regional Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of day-to-day operational systems and services, ensuring that the operations align with the company's strategic objectives. This role will primarily support the Philadelphia, PA area and will involve remote work as well as travel to various Practice Partner offices. In this capacity, the Regional Director Operations will be tasked with providing ongoing communication regarding site, system, and regional performance, driving alignment to key initiatives throughout the region. The role requires a strong focus on knowledge dissemination to operational teams, enabling them to become proficient in the business. The Director will work closely with departmental leadership to lead the operational launch of payer and partner relationships, ensuring that IT, reporting, and infrastructure needs are met for successful implementation. The Regional Director will also analyze data and reports to gain operational and financial insights, identify trends, and uncover regional market opportunities. This involves utilizing data to diagnose performance breakdowns and collaborating cross-functionally to develop solutions. The Director will facilitate collaboration and learning across teams, partner with central operations to support innovative pilot efforts, and lead preparation calls for regional practice and provider meetings. Additionally, the role includes overseeing operations activities, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and building a regional team to support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and development of new leaders and team members. They will also develop positive relationships with local leaders and area project managers to facilitate tracking and reporting of initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide steady leadership, both internally and externally, in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company.
  • Provide ongoing communication on site/system/regional performance and drive alignment to key initiatives throughout the region.
  • Support knowledge dissemination to the operational lane to help them become proficient in the business.
  • In partnership with departmental leadership, lead the operational launch of payer/partner relationships; supporting IT, reporting, and infrastructure needs to successfully implement new partnerships.
  • Support leadership team in developing and executing on the key operating functions while leveraging established Regional management processes, facilitating metric driven optimization plans and helping to remove barriers.
  • Build and maintain relationship efforts with value based partners, physician groups and more.
  • Analyze data and reports for operational and financial insights, trends, and regional market opportunities.
  • Utilize data to understand causes or symptoms of performance breakdowns, working cross-functionally with necessary teams to drive solutions for those breakdowns.
  • Disseminate and communicate relevant insights for site and the region overall.
  • Facilitate cross team collaboration and learning.
  • Partner with central operations to implement, operationalize and support innovative pilot efforts and/or partnership with new strategic partners/arrangements.
  • Help facilitate success locally by partnering centrally on key IT and analytics interfaces.
  • Lead the preparation calls for regional practice and provider meetings.
  • Oversee the process, facilitate appropriate transfer of data and information and partner on engagement strategies with regional leaders.
  • Understand linkages between program goals and company-specific business context.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently and seamlessly including: Supporting development of and driving operationalization of care models.
  • Overseeing operations activities to ensure efficient operations and resource allocation.
  • Managing budget.
  • Collaborating with IT department to create and enhance necessary dashboards.
  • Monitoring the status of various programs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with functional area project managers to track status of activities.
  • Driving escalation and resolution of critical project related issues, including resource needs, that would impact program results.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the processes and structure, develop implementation plans for those improvements, and manage execution of those plans.
  • Define and build regional team to support recruitment, hiring/onboarding, and development of new leaders and team members.
  • Develop positive relationships with local leaders and area project managers and practices to facilitate tracking and reporting of initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of equivalent education/work experience.
  • MHA/MPH/MBA or master's preferred.
  • 10+ years industry experience.
  • Experience with value-based care models preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare programs preferred.
  • Outstanding record of leadership and management success.
  • Competent in MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel (20% - 30%) on average.
