About the position

The Regional Director will lead a team focused on B2B sales and customer service, ensuring efficient operations and a productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage daily activities, drive business growth, and maintain high ethical standards. The position emphasizes adaptability, empathy, and organization, with a focus on team success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that serves as regional support for business to business sales and customer service.
  • Manage outside sales, lead generation through cold calling, and closing business, which constitutes 50% of the role.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team to maintain existing business through phone contact and on-site visits.
  • Track productivity and performance standards to ensure established levels are achieved.
  • Analyze team statistics and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Evaluate associates on performance and complete performance appraisals.
  • Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans.
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to franchisees, establishing best practices.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in B2B sales and sales management.
  • 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a business-to-business sales team.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required; relevant experience or military experience is acceptable.

  • Ability to develop and rollout new processes.
  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements for operational excellence.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
