About the position

The Regional Educator for L'Oreal Professionnel is responsible for executing educational initiatives within their designated region to support sales and enhance brand loyalty among hairdressers. This role involves leading educational activities for top accounts, facilitating classes, and participating in events to promote the brand and its products. The educator will also analyze territory needs to recruit artists and expand brand education through various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of education for top-level accounts to drive sales and increase salon market share, both live and virtual.
  • Execute national education initiatives including ticket sales for all ticketed events.
  • Provide quarterly updates to top-level accounts on new brand products and initiatives.
  • Facilitate classes based on salon needs and territory requirements, aiming for at least 30 activities per month.
  • Expand brand education reach through social media and education events.
  • Collaborate with BDM, SalonCentric, and EEM to determine appropriate education strategies for new partnerships.
  • Execute education for new partnership conversion and facilitate classes to achieve at least 30 prospecting opportunities per month.
  • Participate in new partnership events as the education lead.

Requirements

  • High School graduate minimum
  • Current licensed cosmetologist with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • Advanced technical hairdressing skills
  • L'Oreal Professionnel haircolor experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of business and educational aspects of Salon Centric/distributor organization
  • Ability to adhere to budgets for all field training activity and T&E
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility with travel up to 70% of the time in the field
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Must reside in designated region
