About the position

The Regional Electric Power Operations Manager at Cleveland Brothers is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities and supervising all power systems service operations across multiple branches. This role involves collaborating with service staff to enhance customer service, improve profitability, and boost productivity while ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values. The manager will support various market segments, including commercial, industrial, marine, and healthcare, and will be involved in both strategic planning and hands-on management of service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all Power Systems Product Support Operations across multiple branches.
  • Analyze and plan activities to meet customer needs and maintain cost efficiencies.
  • Interface with service supervisors to assist and resolve customer-related conflicts.
  • Travel to all Cleveland Brothers branches and customer job sites to evaluate equipment needs.
  • Assist with ISR's and evaluating repair appraisals and timing of repairs.
  • Review internal and external matters involving operations and expenses.
  • Prepare and submit documents and reports related to department activities.
  • Monitor the repair process for productivity, quality, and timeliness of repairs.
  • Communicate with manufacturer's representatives and maintain supplier relations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a technician career development plan.
  • Analyze and resolve regional or branch-specific power systems conflicts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, General Management, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of relevant power systems product support management experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical repair procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of power systems equipment including generator sets, switch gear, and uninterruptible power systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests from various sources.
  • High energy level with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC-based software programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the construction machinery or industrial equipment sector.
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.
