About the position

The Regional Event Marketing Manager at LeafHome is responsible for overseeing a team of Event Marketing Managers and Event Marketers within a designated region. This role focuses on driving event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The manager will collaborate with leadership to enhance brand presence and is accountable for the performance of their team in exceeding revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow up
  • Identify, schedule, and plan event calendar for team of Event Marketers and Managers in assigned region
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for identified local events
  • Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads
  • Manage event marketing material and equipment set up and tear down
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team to grow brand presence within the local assigned region
  • Recruit, hire, train and develop District Event Marketing Managers and Event Marketers
  • Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency
  • Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events
  • Exceed sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Directors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in successful multi-unit management positions in direct-to-consumer industries
  • Strong recruiting and training skills
  • Experience with large scale budgeting and planning
  • Proven track record of managing on a multi-unit or regional level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage and develop others
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
  • Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to/from assigned events
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing
  • Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing
  • Experience in multi-unit management
  • Previous experience in home improvement event marketing
