About the position

The Regional Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales for events held at Brio Italian Grille, including corporate events, social functions, and banquets. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, serving as a brand ambassador in the community, and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to client follow-up. The ideal candidate will excel in networking, relationship building, and executing effective catering engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Sell all aspects of events held within Brio Italian Grille, including corporate events and social functions.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the brand within the local community on various LSM initiatives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Act as the point of contact for all on- and off-premises events.
  • Generate and execute a definitive sales strategy to meet and exceed departmental revenue goals.
  • Meet with clients to determine needs and exceed their expectations through detailed communication.
  • Network inside and outside the restaurant to obtain leads and build relationships with clients.
  • Achieve and maintain company sales standards.
  • Execute catering sales strategy and objectives through community outreach and sales presentations.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to follow-up to build loyalty.
  • Identify new clients through existing customer base and referrals.
  • Work with marketing to execute an effective catering engagement strategy for customer retention.
  • Utilize reports to track customers and analyze sales trends to maximize results.
  • Partner with operations to support large event planning and execution as needed.
  • Participate in sales blitz activities to generate new catering leads.
  • Maintain regular communication with direct supervisor to review progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years in the Hospitality/Restaurant industry with management experience in catering and event sales.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and catering software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to spend at least 50% of the job generating outside sales.
  • Proof of valid Driver's License and favorable driving record.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work extended hours occasionally, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections.
  • Public speaking experience is a plus.
