About the position

The Regional Facilities & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide Facilities Management activities for Redwire, ensuring effective management of facilities across all locations in the US. This role focuses on work order completion, database management, budgeting, capacity planning, and maintaining safety and OSHA compliance. The manager will implement policies to enforce regulatory compliance, maximize operational efficiencies, and develop the Redwire Health and Safety Program to reduce workplace accidents. Additionally, the position involves managing vendors and contractors, coordinating project activities, and supporting the overall maintenance and expansion of facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all facilities services and repair activities are effectively delivered across multiple Redwire locations.
  • Assist in the development of the Facilities playbook and standards guidelines.
  • Manage preventative maintenance plans for HVAC systems and general building maintenance.
  • Oversee space management and vendor contracts and services such as security and janitorial.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility upgrades and renovations.
  • Provide project management support as needed.
  • Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and proactively address compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA reporting.
  • Coordinate inspections and audits of facilities to detect existing or potential hazards.
  • Investigate and report all safety incidents and accidents.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
  • Assist Redwire sites in managing and maintaining safety equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with new employee badging, building access control, and onboarding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of experience, with a minimum of 5 or more years in industrial facilities management.
  • Experienced in facilities management and best practices in industry trends.
  • General building knowledge including HVAC systems and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of EH&S operations including OSHA regulations.

  • Familiarity with security systems and access control systems.
  • Experience preparing emergency action plans and facilitating audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Design and construction experience.
  • Experience in managing multiple facilities and projects.
  • General knowledge of OSHA reporting.
  • Preferred Certifications: OSHA, CSP, CoreNet, BOMA, and/or IFMA.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, facility management and/or real estate software.
