About the position

The Regional General Manager will oversee all aspects of branch operations for Great Day Improvements in the Upper Midwest region, specifically in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. This role requires a driven and experienced individual to manage job profitability, customer satisfaction, and team performance while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position involves significant regional travel, up to 50% of the year, and offers a competitive salary along with performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Job and project management utilizing the in-house CRM system.
• Oversee implementation of the customer satisfaction process.
• Responsible for job profitability, job costing, budgeting, etc.
• Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs.
• Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures.
• Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of sub-contractors.
• Oversee training of proper installation procedures for all company products.
• Oversee and perform, if necessary, measures, breakouts and order materials accordingly.
• Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented.
• Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems.
• Maintain a rolling 30-day installation schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in general management, preferably in the remodeling or residential construction industry.
• P&L responsibility preferred.
• Experienced in team building and management preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Must be process oriented.
• Excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience in dealing with multiple trades and sub-contractors.
• Must be competent in the use of technology, experience with MS Excel a plus.
